Do you have students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare? Ozarks Healthcare will host a M*A*S*H (Medical Academy of Science and Health) Camp this summer for area students who may be interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. M*A*S*H Camp puts a twist on the traditional concept of a summer camp and gives students hands-on opportunities to explore different areas of the healthcare field and learn from physicians on Ozarks Healthcare’s main campus.
M*A*S*H Camp 2022 Dates: (The program is for students who will be entering into grades 7-12 in fall of 2022.) A three-day session will be held for students entering grades 9-12 on July 11-13, and a one-day session will be held for students entering grades 7-8 on July 14. M*A*S*H Camp Details: Lunch, snacks, a set of scrubs, and a certificate of completion will be provided to each student in attendance. Students will explore different healthcare careers, including orthopedic surgery, radiology, pulmonology, emergency medicine, rehabilitation services, primary care, nursing, and more. Ozarks Healthcare physicians will also provide occupational information to students, such as education requirements, salary ranges, and pros and cons about practicing in their fields of expertise.
Students interested in participating in Ozarks Healthcare’s M*A*S*H Camp must complete an application that can be downloaded and printed at the link below. A $20 entry fee is required. Applications, entry fee, and all requested documentation must be returned or mailed to Ozarks Healthcare’s Education Department by May 20. Students will be notified upon acceptance into M*A*S*H Camp.
